- Visit The Space-Themed Maize Maze In Staffordshire
The National Forest Adventure Farm in Staffordshire has unveiled a 10-acre moon-landing-themed maize maze in honour of the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. Families can travel the maze to uncover and solve space-themed puzzles, as well as assist a lunar crew in repairing their spacecraft so they can return to Earth safely.
The farm hosts a number of other space-themed activities, as well as opportunities to feed its animals, ride a tractor, and burn off some steam at its other outdoor activities, such as a mini assault course and farmyard crazy golf.

The world’s fastest zip line and Europe’s longest is now housed in this former slate quarry near Snowdon in North Wales. Velocity 2 is a ride that takes you over Penrhyn Quarry at speeds of over 100 mph and is suitable for youngsters aged 10 and up. Smaller daredevils can try the Big Red mobile zip wire (for ages five to twelve) or take a quarry tour in one of Zip World’s trucks to take in the scenery with a more sedate side order of tea and cake that can be enjoyed with your family.
